The computer game industry is huge - bigger than the movies and music industries combined.

Providing the required sounds in this business is a challenging and innovative process.

Mark Angus is a sound designer working in this field. Over the years Mark has worked on over a dozen video game titles, including many AAA and Hollywood franchises, for companies such as EA, Sega and Microsoft, as well as having film and television credits to his name.

Mark will give an introduction to the history of audio for games followed by a description of the current workflow.  He will go into detail on the actual choice, recording, and manipulation of sound to create a realistic and interactive soundscape. There will be opportunity for Q&As.
