Despite the prevalence of digital audio recorders and workstations, analogue interconnectivity remains as important as ever.

However, misunderstandings persist over balanced and unbalanced connections, grounding practices, ground-loops, signal levels, headroom, metering, and more.

Hugh Robjohns, Technical Editor of Sound On Sound magazine, debunks some myths and offers some problem-solving solutions.

Doors open at 19:00 with the talk starting at 19:30

Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available.

Parking is available on site - or it's just a short walk from Beaconsfield train station

**This event is free for IPS Members with tickets available for Non-Members at a price of £5 - registration is now open for members and tickets will be available from Friday 4th for Non-Members**

See you there!
