Dubbing mixer and sound supervisor Guy Rowland, is presenting this two-part Zoom webinar introduction to Avid Pro Tools. It is not a course, rather it’s a broad overview of the concepts and perils so you know why the dubbing mixer might be sobbing into a bottle of whiskey at the end of the day.
Part 1 will build a simple audio project from the ground up to include dialogue, music and sound effects;
Part 2 (1 October) will look at post-workflows to see how the audio recorded on location ends up on the timeline, and the kinds of things that can go horribly wrong. Each session will last about an hour and will include a Q&A at the end, so please do join us from wherever you happen to be in the world. NB: whiskey is neither provided or tax deductible.
