This is an escorted tour of BBC News operations and facilities based at New Broadcasting House in London. We are hosted by the Head of Sound and colleagues.
Subject to the news agenda of the day we hope that the visit will include: tours of studios and galleries, the newsroom, talk with crew, observe the transmission of a programme with talkback and external sources featured.
We expect this event to be popular, and there are only 12 places available, so you will register your interest on this booking site, and a ballot will be held one week before the visit. Everybody who registers interest will be told whether they have a place on the visit or if they were unsuccessful in the ballot.
If you you are successful in the ballot, and for any reason you cannot attend, please let the organisers know and then your place can be re-allocated. Please do not turn up unless you have been told you have a place on the tour. If you do turn up without a confirmed place you will not be admitted.
You will need to report to Reception of New Broadcasting House by 09:45 with a form of photo-ID to show at BBC reception. The tour will start at 10:00, and the duration is expected to be about 2 hours.
Location: BBC New Broadcasting House, Portland Place, London, W1A 1AA. (https://w3w.co/junior.needed.among) (https://maps.app.goo.gl/rYJQ9Rwy5gVv4FWm9)
