The IPS is to host a two day seminar on the topic of Audio over IP (Internet Protocol)
Networked Audio over IP? Ignore It At Your Peril...!
PROGRAMME DETAILS - download pdf
Internet Protocol (IP) is the method being used to move an ever increasing amount of data from A to B to C. Audio over IP (AoIP) is the collective description of sending real time digital audio over these data links.
AoIP has been around for a while but in recent years we are seeing more and more buzzwords such as Dante, Ravenna, AVB, Soundgrid, AES 67 and others. What do they mean and how will they effect the worlds that IPS members reside in?
The IPS will attempt to answer these questions in this special 2 day seminar presented with the generous support of Terry Tew Sound & Light Ltd.
Expert panel
We are bringing together a collection of experts to help explain what is IP and specifically AoIP. How does it work, and perhaps more importantly, what to do when it doesn’t? This is an opportunity to talk with the people who’ve been there and done that in the field of IP. To fill in the gaps in your knowledge and generally find out what all the fuss is about.
Trade Exhibition

- Aspen Media
- Broadcast Bionics
